Privacy Policy

1. Data protection at a glance

General information
The following notes provide a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit this website. Personal data means any data with which you can be personally identified. Detailed information on the subject of data protection can be found in the full privacy policy set out below.

Data collection on this website
Who is responsible for data collection on this website?
Data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator. You can find the operator’s contact details in the “Controller” section of this privacy policy.

How do we collect your data?

On the one hand, your data is collected when you provide it to us – for example via the contact form or by e-mail. Other data is collected automatically by IT systems when you visit the website (e.g. browser type, operating system, time of page access).

What do we use your data for?

Part of the data is collected to ensure that the website is provided without errors. Other data may be used to process your enquiries. No analytics or tracking services are used on this website.

What rights do you have regarding your data?

You have the right to obtain information free of charge at any time about the origin, recipients and purpose of your stored personal data, as well as the right to rectification or erasure of this data. You can revoke consent you have previously given at any time. You also have the right to restriction of processing and the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

2. Hosting

I host the content of this website with the following provider:
IONOS SE
Elgendorfer Str. 57
56410 Montabaur
Germany

When you visit this website, IONOS collects various log files including your IP address. For details, please refer to the IONOS privacy policy:
https://www.ionos.de/terms-gtc/terms-privacy

The use of IONOS is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a reliable presentation of the website). Where corresponding consent has been requested, processing is based exclusively on Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and § 25 (1) TDDDG. Consent can be revoked at any time.

3. General information and mandatory information

Data protection

The protection of your personal data is important to me. I treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy. Please note that data transmission on the internet (e.g. communication by email) may have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

Storage period

Unless a more specific storage period is stated in this privacy policy, your personal data will remain with me until the purpose for data processing no longer applies. If you assert a legitimate request for erasure or revoke your consent to data processing, your data will be erased unless there are other legally permissible reasons for its storage (e.g. statutory tax or commercial retention periods of 6 or 10 years).

General information on the legal bases of data processing

If you have consented to data processing, I process your personal data on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. If the processing is necessary for the performance of a contract or for pre-contractual measures, it is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. If the processing is necessary to fulfil a legal obligation, it is based on Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR. Furthermore, data processing can be based on my legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

Recipients of personal data

I only pass on personal data to external parties if this is necessary for the performance of a contract, if I am legally obliged to do so, if I have a legitimate interest in the transfer under Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, or if some other legal basis permits the transfer. Where processors are used, I only transfer personal data on the basis of a valid data processing agreement in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.

Withdrawal of your consent to data processing

Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke consent you have already given at any time with effect for the future. The lawfulness of data processing carried out up to the time of revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

Right to object to processing in specific cases and to direct marketing (Art. 21 GDPR)

If data processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (e) or (f) GDPR, you have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of your personal data, including profiling based on those provisions. If you object, I will no longer process your affected personal data unless I can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims (objection under Art. 21 (1) GDPR).

Where your personal data is processed for purposes of direct marketing, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data for such marketing, including profiling to the extent that it is related to such direct marketing. If you object, your personal data will no longer be used for direct marketing purposes (objection under Art. 21 (2) GDPR).

Right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority

In the event of violations of the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement. The supervisory authority locally responsible for me is:

Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht (BayLDA)
Promenade 18
91522 Ansbach
Germany
https://www.lda.bayern.de

The right to lodge a complaint is without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy.

Right to data portability

You have the right to have data which I process automatically on the basis of your consent or in performance of a contract delivered to you or to a third party in a commonly used, machinereadable format. Where you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only take place where technically feasible.

Right of access, rectification and erasure

Within the scope of the applicable statutory provisions, you have the right at any time to obtain information free of charge about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients and the purpose of data processing, and, where appropriate, a right to rectification or erasure of this data. You can contact me at any time regarding this and any other questions on the subject of personal data.

Right to restriction of processing

You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. This right exists in particular in the following cases:
• If you contest the accuracy of your personal data stored by me, I usually need time to verify this. For the duration of the review, you have the right to request restriction of processing.
• If the processing of your personal data has been or is being carried out unlawfully, you may request restriction of processing instead of erasure.
• If I no longer need your personal data for the purposes of processing, but you require it for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, you may request restriction of processing instead of erasure.
• If you have lodged an objection pursuant to Art. 21 (1) GDPR, a balancing of your interests and mine must be carried out. As long as it has not yet been determined whose interests prevail, you have the right to request restriction of processing.

SSL / TLS encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this website uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line. When SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to me cannot be read by third parties.

4. Data collection on this website

Server log files

When you access this website, the hosting provider automatically collects and stores information in socalled server log files, which your browser automatically transmits:
• Browser type and browser version
• Operating system used
• Referrer URL
• Host name of the accessing computer
• Date and time of the server request
• IP address
This data is not merged with other data sources. The collection is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the technically errorfree presentation and operation of the website).

Cookies
This website uses socalled cookies. Cookies are small data packages that do not cause any damage to your end device. They are either stored temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (permanent cookies) on your device. Session cookies are automatically deleted after your visit. Permanent cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them yourself or your web browser deletes them automatically.

Technically necessary cookies are set on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR in conjunction with § 25 (2) TDDDG; no prior consent is required. Where cookies that are not technically necessary are used, this is done exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and § 25 (1) TDDDG), which can be revoked at any time.

You can configure your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies, only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be restricted.

Currently, only technically necessary cookies of the web hosting system are used on this website. No tracking or analytics cookies are used.

Enquiries by e-mail or telephone

If you contact me by email or telephone, your enquiry, including all personal data resulting therefrom (name, enquiry), will be stored and processed by me for the purpose of handling your request. I will not pass on this data without your consent.

The processing of this data is based on:
• Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, insofar as your enquiry is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of precontractual measures,
• Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR in all other cases (legitimate interest in the effective processing of enquiries addressed to me),
• Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR where consent is requested; consent can be revoked at any time.

The data you send to me will remain with me until you request erasure, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies. Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular statutory retention periods – remain unaffected.

5. Version and updates

This privacy policy is current as of: June 2026. In the event of any discrepancies or inconsistencies between the German and the English versions of this information, only the German version shall be legally binding. The English version is provided for information purposes only.

I reserve the right to adapt this privacy policy so that it always complies with the current legal requirements or to reflect changes to my services.
